A very quiet month in the mobile phone industry, with a handful of varied devices being announced by manufacturers.

The Motorola RAZR MAXX is a worldwide version of the US DROID RAZR MAXX, and is simply the existing powerful RAZR smartphone with a massive battery crammed into its slim frame. The LG Optimus True HD LTE is a rare 4G smartphone heading to Europe. At the other end of the market is the ultra-cheap but rather good looking Nokia 103 phone. Finally, the BlackBerry Curve 9220 is a very low cost messaging device heading exclusively to India.
