April was a quiet month with just a handful of new releases.

Tablets

Sony showed a preview of their forthcoming Sony Tablet S1 and S2 devices, both of which show some of Sony's unique design flair.. and the S2 is the first hinged tablet that we have seen as well. It's quite likely that these two tablets will be renamed and even redesigned somewhat before launch.

Smartphones

HTC redefined the top of their range with the dual core HTC Sensation. Compared with rivals, the forthcoming Nokia X7 multimedia smartphone looks hopelessly out of its depth. On the other hand, the new Nokia E6 messaging phone seems to be almost perfect for its market segment.
